Watermark

Hello dear Friend's as you know ,over internet there are million's of pictures,and since you are starting your career in photography ...you want either for people to know who made the picture's either prevent other people to steal your picture's and use them for them.


For that matter you can use a watermark which is like a signature for your picture's! In order to do that you need adobe photoshop !


I will show you a fast tutorial how to do it :


1. Open photoshop and click FILE > NEW

make sure you have those options then hit ok.


2. Click on the text tool and drag like u see in the picture below:

once you did this you will have to add your name or whatever text you wanna be your signature !


3. click WINDOW>CHARACTER then select how big you want your text to be (i usually choose 72 pt)and the style(the one in the picture is PAPYRUS) then type it down!

if you did everything correct till here go ahead and click ok.!


4.Now that you did everything correct select the crop tool and make a selection of the text ... it is very important NOT TOO CUT ANY OF THE TEXT in the process.

if you got your selection like in the picture press ok .


5. It looks ok but still needs some magic so what you are going to do next is select FILTER>STYLIZE>EMBOSS and there is going to pop up a window where you will press ok and then another window is going to appear like in the picture bellow :

make sure you have those settings then hit ok!


6. Now that everything is set we are going to save it and it's recommended that you save it on desktop or in another easy to get location . So you are going to click FILE>SAVE AS ...choose your location set the name and the file format to PNG.

after setting everything up click save then a small window is going to pop up click ok and there you go ...you have your own personal signature .


In the end  to put your watermark on your pictures :
1. open the picture in photoshop
2. click FILE>PLACE choose location and click on the watermark and then Place.
3. once the watermark is on the picture you can make it bigger smaller or make it curved  just go ahead and play with it then once you set the final place for him in the picture ..and the size  make sure that you choose Hard Light  like in the picture then click ok.
I'm sure you will find it awesome in the end :) now all you have to do is save the picture and voila !!!! you got yourself the picture marked!!! no body will be able to used it in any purpose without people knowing the true author !
